I dove in headfirst to the whole tiny-micro world almost two years ago — Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, Arduino — and have found all kinds of uses for them around the house and in my office.
One of my favorite is the super-accurate network time server built with a Raspberry Pi 3 and a GPS hat on top. Though we all think of GPS as providing location services, it also provides highly accurate time, and that's what we're extracting with this little setup.
This Tech Tip details how I built my own tiny network time server, I hope it helps others.
