For almost every election in California, I analyze the ballot propositions (but not candidates!) with an eye to getting to the bottom of the issues with a mostly libertarian eye. I've been doing it for around 20 years (though I can find only the last 10 years of writing), and it's proven popular with friends.
Almost nobody agrees with me on everything, but my friends have all expressed appreciation for a mostly non-spin approach to the issues.
I finished this a few days ago - the election is on Tuesday - but forgot to blog it. Oh well.
